1.         Local democracy programme

Projects under this programme should contribute to a further strengthening and developing of local democracy. It should help municipalities in improving services to the citizens through:

·        capacity building, e.g. strengthening of administrative skills in order to render public services in an efficient and reliable way,

·        political dialogue among political actors,

·        internal democratisation of political parties,

2.         Education, tolerance and mutual understanding programme

Projects under this programme should foster

• Inter-ethnic and inter-religious dialogue in communities with mixed ethnic populations/religious denominations,
• Education in small scale (for example language and IT classes, minor sport fields, equipment, cultural events and sport activities)  

3.         Fight against corruption programme

The aim of this programme is to assist Macedonian organisations and authorities to combat corruption in public and private sectors.

4.         Media programme

This programme aims at supporting further development  of a professional, independent  and reliable media for all ethnic groups.

Media companies, non-governmental organisations, international organisations

5.         Development of small and medium sized companies

Project activities in this section should be complementary to activities that are already undertaken by Norwegian organisations and companies.

6.         Fight against human trafficking

The aim of the programme is to support the fight against trafficking in human beings, especially women and children. Capacity building in the sector of law enforcement sector and awareness rising are targeted areas in addition to victim protection and replacement.

Who can apply?
