The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Macedonia hosted the second Norwegian Aid Coordination Meeting. The aim of the conference was to tie Norwegian implementing partners closer together allowing them to gain a wider understanding of each others fields and to exchange views and experiences.

The conference built on the good response from the previous conference, and collected around 40 participants that represented a broad cross-section of Norwegian aid to Macedonia. Among the organisations represented were;

The discussion demonstrated that Norwegian aid is essential to promote Macedonia’s ambition towards Euro-Atlantic integration. The Norwegian projects have been well received and in many respects tied Norway and Macedonia closer together, both on a national as well as local level.
