Norwegian Wind Energy Study in Macedonia

The Norwegian energy company NTE is currently conducting a study to assess the viability of windmill power stations in Macedonia. NTE will also train 7 Macedonian specialists in wind-engineering by arranging seminars in Norway.

About NTE:

NTE is among the leading operators in Norway in terms of wind power expertise, with more than 10 years of experience in operating wind turbines in areas exposed to harsh weather conditions. NTE is part owner of the company ScanWind AS, which has developed a new 3 MW wind turbine.

NTE Ekstern offers external contracting services to other electric power plants in Norway and abroad in connection with the building and maintenance of line networks. In recent years, NTE Ekstern has been engaged in a number of joint ventures together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NORAD (Directorate for Development Cooperation) and the UN, especially in the Balkans.
